To celebrate marriage, in all its glory, we’re honoring the marriage experts in our audience – you! On Wednesday November 11th we’re inviting audiences to renew their vows after the matinee. The ceremony will be hosted by Christine Toy Johnson, one of the show’s stars who, if you’re a fan of Broadway Musicals you may have seen in Susan Stroman’s Music Man, Grease (the one with Rosie O’Donnell), David Henry Hwang’s rewritten Flower Drum Song, and a few others. In addition, a small reception will be held after the ceremony with cake and champagne. Reservations are required and space is limited. Get Engaged at BRT!

One night between November 3 and November 22 during I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, SOMEONE will propose at BRT. Here’s how it works:

The proposer gets two complimentary tickets to the show (with your seat on the aisle for kneeling ease). Should friends or family choose to purchase additional tickets to witness the big event, we’ll make sure that everyone can sit together in seats situated for prime viewing of the proposal. During the actual performance, you’ll just enjoy the show (or sit there nervously, we suppose, depending on you). And then . . . during the curtain call . . . an actor will silence the crowd for your big moment.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change runs from November 3 to November 22 and the proposal slot is still available on a first come, first served basis. To see the complete calendar of performance times and dates, click here.
