OPENING NIGHT!

Tonight is opening night of DEFIANCE at BRT.  I went around and asked some of our staff members what they enjoy most about opening nights.  Here are some of their responses:

The festiveness, anticipation, and excitement that surround the evening.      -Adam Goldstein, Artistic Associate

Having the opportunity to enjoy the company of all of our staff members in the same place at the same time, which does not happen often in this very busy building.     -David Abers, Office Manager

Watching the cast and audience members mingle.  They get to know each other and have the opportunity to ask each other questions.     -Christine McMullen, Marketing Director

Having the opportunity to hang out with the cast and get to know them better…not something I have much opportunity to do from inside the box office.   -Mark Stevenson, Box Office Associate.

I enjoy relaxing with the wonderful people I work with after a very intense process getting the show from first rehearsal to opening night.  We all get dressed up and simply enjoy each others company while celebrating our collaborative effort leading up to tonight.
